Synopsis: Based on a chinese folk tale, “The Destiny of White Snake” tells a forbidden love story between a spirit-snake and a mortal youth. Bai Yao Yao(Yang Zi) is a white snake who is about to transform into a human. One day, while she is roaming the mortal world, she meets Xu Xuan(Ren Jia Lun) and falls in love with him. However, another woman named Leng Ning is also in love with Xu Xuan. To make them fall apart, she releases the demons, causing destruction to the human world. To save the world, Xu Xuan sacrifices himself and disintegrates, leaving Bai Yao Yao devastated and decides to go back to the mountains. A thousand years pass by and they meet again.
